When is it useful

Pizetalen® is an ointment designed to manage discomfort resulting from skin and mucosal (genital and perianal) irritation in both adults and infants/children. Its formula, based on lipids and plant extracts, makes Pizetalen® suitable for treating dry or reddened skin caused by erythema, insect bites, laser and/or pulsed light treatments, tattoos, etc., as well as for protecting and soothing a child's skin irritated by the occlusive effect of diapers. It is also useful for addressing irritation, dryness, and itching of the genital and perianal mucosa in both men and women (e.g., vulvar dystrophy, Lichen Sclerosus, balanitis, and balanoposthitis).
